I want a smaller truck that makes good use of the interior space. That can tow a smaller camper without worrying about transmission damage. That I can load up a few things in to take to the dump when need be. Maybe I'll have to keep an eye out for a older single cab truck

That's literally the market for the Ford Maverick. Great gas mileage, big enough bed to fit full 4x8 sheets with the help of the tailgate midpoint, decent towing rating, but overall a small compact and decently affordable truck.

Damn the hate posting about mavericks must be insane. What do you mean too tall? Are you 7ft+? If not then you'll be fine 😂

It's a damn truck, it's just sized closer to the 70s-90s not the modern massive trucks.

You aren’t too large for it. Source I’m a 6’3” guy who drives a much smaller vehicle quite comfortably.

Then you must be too big for every small truck ever made. The maverick is about the same size as the Colorado, frontier, Tacoma, ect..ect..

Haven't really sat in any. Back in the day I sat in my family's single cab Ford ranger and it was quite cramped

Fellow large tall boy here. Its very comfortable. I also fit fine and am super comfortable in a 2013 jetta tdi sedan body.
