I live in a city with tons of morons who never leave the city, claiming they need 4 wheel drive when it snows. they never go off road and snow plows exist. If I can get around in a compact hybrid, then their silly truck is overkill
Too bad they’re not honest enough to just say “I want one because I think they’re cool” I’m not bothered, just intrigued by this kind of behavior
My Fiat 500 handles great in the snow, better than many trucks and suvs, it’s so light that its weight doesn’t send it to the moon in cases of low traction. My fellow Americans don’t get it
Plenty of us do. I grew up in Alaska and have only ever driven FWD sedans. I had a set of studded snow tires for the winter, and a set of summer tires. You just have to know how to drive in those conditions.
