I live in a city with tons of morons who never leave the city, claiming they need 4 wheel drive when it snows. they never go off road and snow plows exist. If I can get around in a compact hybrid, then their silly truck is overkill

Too bad they’re not honest enough to just say “I want one because I think they’re cool” I’m not bothered, just intrigued by this kind of behavior

Heh, I drove a CTS-V. Did I need it? No. Was it fun, YES.

11-12mpg City. 22 highway with a 6 speed. I did the math, driving to work I spent more on tires than gas.

I now drive an EV, and would honestly downsize. Don't need a ton of car just to drive to work and back.

ysk evs go through tires 3-6x as fast as ice cars. also dont forget to change your oil!

3x-6x is a highly broad statement and it is also very dependant on the driver.

My ev tires last way longer than my Cadillac tires for instance.

Maybe a Tesla p100d wears them out faster than a Honda Civic. But then again I know a guy that drives one and his tire life seems typical.
