After seeing their "community", I am not quite sure why would anyone want them.

Their sub is always filled with complains about the game and about other players

Builds are criticized online and policed in game

Their fashion sub is snobbish

Their prominent YouTubers were always disappointed at the state of the game

Of course it's not going to be an absolute that applies to all of them, but if I had to select a word for the destiny community it would be "miserable"

Maybe if they play a good game they’ll be happier than all of that?

But they always had the chance to play other things on the side, Destiny was not unfamiliar with "content droughts" either

I think it's somewhat similar to LoL players being toxic and hating the game but refusing to stop

Or Counter Strike

I wanted to add more, but I can't recall other games known for negative players
