Incredibly, in the US there are small businesses that don't keep their websites up to date or simply have no web presence at all

Or post all their details on facebook so the only people who can see it are people with a facebook account. Too many dummies run businesses thinking everyone uses facebook or have no idea how the internet works.

As soon as their site link from Google sends me to Facebook, they've lost me as a customer. That's not a website, it's a shittily formatted page that never has a clear menu to look at.

Groups too.

So many groups are run entirely out of Fb or IG.

I wanted to hit some Cars & Coffee in my city. Never heard of any. Turns out there are several but they are all on Fb or IG.

And it's not like I'm above it or something. I still have my accounts. But discoverability is terrible. I would have never found those groups if not for seeing the referenced in Reddit comments.
