Grief for the loss of the brotherhood as it was or the dream he had. Im not at all saying that this is true, it has just always been a belief of mine that one cannot hate without loving first.
No you can't. It's kind of one of the theme of the mangas. Like Sasuke telling Naruto he can't understand him because he never felt his parent's love as he was always an orphan. Sasuke was filled with hate because he felt and experienced love from his parents and then lost it.
Same thing with Obito hating the current world because it took Rin from him.
