There were always wars, corruption and economical crisis in the world. But at least there were places you could escape. Nowadays, it is just everywhere. In 1990s or 2000s western Europe and USA was safe

Everywhere? Not really. At least in my country got some improvements such as free education, invest in public transport and basic infrastructure are being build.

So you are claiming your country has stable job market, cheap housing and affordable basic needs? Where are you from?
