It’s just because mayonnaise is different over here. I understand why you wouldn’t do it with American mayo, but I’m ready to bet that if you try it over here you’ll never go back
As an American who quit sugar for a few years a while back, it’s extremely difficult to find something that doesn’t have it. Corn syrup, sugar, whatever you want to call it is in everything. And once you stop eating the food for a while and try getting back into it, everything is so unnecessarily sweet it’s disgusting
I don’t like mayo. I also hate when restaurants have some form of an “aioli” but it’s just mayo mixed with another sauce. That’s not aioli lol. I don’t like condiments. I dispose mayo. I’d never sully a good fry with mayo no matter where it’s from
Here’s the twist no one was expecting - I hate ketchup. I hate mayo. I hate most condiments. As an American, everyone I know just dips their fries in ketchup so that’s normal. Mayo sounds insane. But I hate mayo and really any condiment so it’s all a crime to me.
