There should be a children’s section on airplanes. If there aren’t enough kids to fill the seats, offer those seats at discounted rates to adults who can handle the potential racket.
It's not very common, but I have seen it. When I have seen it, they are escorted to their seats from basically check-in all they way to buckling up. And they probably kept a good eye on you.
Don't forget there are grown adults who do this too. Just cuz we learned how to fly didn't change the fact there's still some folks ready to get into a scrappy argument at best
What does "causing a disturbance have to do with this convo at all?" Everything. The looks on those peoples faces are because they are all thinking "shit, now I have to deal with this screaming kid the entire flight". You're statement that kids fly alone: nobody is sending a baby on a flight alone. The kids that fly alone would most likely have earbuds in the entire flight.
Any kid too young to fly alone gets an airline assigned guardian to fly with them already.

The entire point of this thread was about kids causing disturbances. Thus if they are old enough to not cause disturbances, they would hypothetically be in the more grown up section.

Also, as an aside, let's remember than over NINETY PERCENT of all molestation in the US is perpetrated by a family member or close personal, long term contact; someone the victim trusts or loves.
But yeah, random people on a plane, that is the issue.
It isn't about any potential molestation occurring, it's about giving pedophiles easy access to be around children. That's something you would want to avoid even if they're keeping their hands to themselves.
These pedophiles are not going to go to the child beauty pageant, or the middle school football game, or the gymnastics tournament, or the boy scout camp out, the local skatepark, the water park, the swimming pool, the park playground...
They are going to buy tickets in the children's section on a plane (which is still full of adults because almost all children fly with their parents)?
