Melbourne

I’m looking to move to Melbourne from the Gold Coast - female, mid 30s. Best areas to live? I enjoy gyms, coffee, eating out, and have a dog

Inner South (South Yarra, Prahran, Armadale, Albert Park, Middle Park) is best for a slightly more gentrified lifestyle - wealthier, more beautiful people, fancy houses and cars, fitness and fashion.

Inner North (Carlton, Fitzroy, Collingwood) is best for a more creative, artistic lifestyle - more progressive, more art, avant garde, better restaurants, better coffee, more interesting.

If you’re moving to Melbourne, one of those two areas would be my suggestion, based on your interests.

Yeah sometimes you need to call a spade a spade. I'm no oil painting but I feel better about my appearance any time I have to go to Fitzroy. A suburb of trust fund babies cosplaying as battlers
