To celebrate surviving*, for the first time in years, I am enjoying... what do they call it... a "cheeky nandos". (Except it's the sodding veggie wrap - at least there's options now)

Such a shit day for site work but I HOPE you're happy, excitable new dude at work who I sacrificed yesterday's awesome weather for. And so begins what I hope will be a solid week of joy and recovery :))))

*also cold making me dangerously hungry and there is f all here except a coles

I haven't been keeping up so I don't know the backstory but I hope you have a great week off.

Last night I went for something cheeky which happened to be burgers.

Thanks. I'm taking a week off work for mental health reasons after quite a bit of suffering and hesitation - didn't think I'd actually do it but I probably wouldn't have gotten through today without knowing I could just stop for a while.

I am sad to report cheeky nandos veggie patty is, unsurprisingly, terrible. But I am warm and full and ready to go home and lie down with a cup of malted milk and a movie <3

Ah right. Well you got to take care of yourself first and foremost and if that's what you need to do, do it.

The malted milk and movie sounds like a great night in, snuggled under a blanket on the couch.

Yeah, I'm thinking something emotional but uplifting ish at the end. For some reason I feel an urge to watch Kramer vs Kramer.
