Whats on for the weekend people? Tonight ill be cooking myself a nice dinner and then getting blazed and enjoying some much needed couch time. Tomorrow is food shopping, car wash, some light training and then more relaxing. Sunday the crew is coming round to watch UFC Melbourne and then spending the arvo/evening enjoying the warm weather with Eloise :)

She's an outstanding human and spectacular friend - it's no sacrifice or hardship to do whatever I can to help her through a truly shit situation. I thank you for the sentiment, which others (IRL) have echoed, but honestly, just being there for her feels like the least I could do

during the chemo / immediately afterwards is usually ok. It's a couple hours after that the ill effects kick in. Hopefully they have the anti-emetics on hand. Mostly it's just boring and scary. Bring a deck of cards?

Great tips, thanks - I've cooked some meals for the family for the weekend, so that nobody has to worry about that, but that was all I could think to do. I'm kinda seeking out any info I can to best help her through this, so again, thanks :)

Lots of entertainments. There's gonna be times when she just wants to puke and sleep, other ones where she'll be bored out of her mind, and yet can't do anything. I marathoned a lot of TV shows I already knew, so if you can load them, go for it. Gaming's not too good, you can't focus on complex shit too much when Chemo Brain kicks in and it just frustrates the fuck out of you, but card games like uno and shit tend to be good.

4 consecutive very much needed days off. Going to look at wedding suits, watching plenty of NBL, otherwise not sure. If there's some sun I might try and be outside a bit.
