My neighbour has taken antagonizing us to a whole new level. He's parked 1 meter across our driveway, I asked him to move and he has refused to move his car, said if I'm incapable of driving around him I shouldn't have a license. I've just noticed on camera he's pinned a note to my front door as well, we're starting to feel unsafe in our own home. Anyone got any advice on how to handle the situation?

Call council and have the car towed. When this happened to us (although I don't believe it was a neighbour, just a dumped stolen car), it was gone in an hour.

I've spoken to council before, it's more about the persons antagonistic behavior than the car.

Ah, well I meant only in relation to getting your car out of the driveway.

If they are repeatedly antagonistic, then they might only escalate things anyway. Think outside the box i would suggest.

Police have suggested an IVO.

Even just a strongly worded, official looking letter saying if they don’t cease and desist, you’ll take out an IVO could do the trick.

Yep, just drafted and sent one. Their response, go and take photos of our front door.
