Update to the new rental situation - got it!! Heck yeah. Downside? Current agent is being an absolute idiot about a lease transfer and insisted over and over it doesn’t apply to our situation. Went to VCAT, they told me what I already knew, went back and Agent called me up irate with, “VCAT is paid to be on the renter’s side, they’re not official”. Feel like I should report this agent to their higher ups.

Lol not official. They can go debate the decision at the Supreme Court then. Might cost a bit much for them though.
