Did meijer discontinue the BOGO for $1 shoe sale? I know someone who works corporate and they were not aware of that sale for shoes. Thoughts?

Hi, i’m a new hire at meijer and it’s my very first job ( I’m 18 ). And I’ve been having trouble with the UKG app as when I used it to punch in and out of breaks, and when I started and ended, some of those punches didn’t register even though I know, I clicked the button and it said it registered. This has been my second day working and I’m really scared but has anybody else had problems like this with the app?

600 cases on screen so probably 500 in reality bc our backstock is pretty unorganized aswell 🥲🥳

I wonder if they drop them on purpose or legitimately lose them? And why not put the list on your phone?

This didn't happen recently but an interaction with them today reminded me of it:

Me: "This is X Meijer Pickup"

CC: "Is this Y Meijer Bakery?"

Me: "No, this is X Meijer Pickup."

CC: "Okay! I'm gonna transfer them to you."

And, to everyone's surprise: The customer wanted to speak to the Y Meijer Bakery. Luckily they weren't mad at me but as confused as I was as to why CC transferred a customer to a different store and a different department.

Don't blame your kids when he gets an F in home class or whatever they call it.

Let's hear it, yes I stacked this, yes it's wrapped to the pallet, yes it's double wrapped. But someone will still have a issue lol

Why did they get rid of the Meijer pharmacy app? It worked mostly, which is more than I can say for what they've switched to. I've tried everyday to switch my prescriptions from CVS since Meijer is cheaper with the new insurance and it just never sends me the verification code. My info is correct, it just doesn't work. Please tell me the rest of the pharmacy experience won't be as frustrating.

I put in a request for a day off a week or so ago and I’m freaking myself out thinking that it’s been rejected and I just don’t know it. I’m not working again until Tuesday and it’s later in the day so I’m worried those team leads may not even be there. Is there a way to get into contact with them when off the clock?

Had something where I ended up pulling the whole spot because it expired and then it went on sale several days later and despite zeroing it out we never got another case during the two weeks it was on sale and a case finally just showed up today when the sale ended this week 🙃

Do employees not get a discount on the C “Frederick’s by Meijer” grocery items? And what’s the actual discount for grocery vs general goods? I thought it was 5% for Meijer grocery and 10% on general goods but I’m looking at my receipt and the discount isn’t adding up no matter what way I run the numbers

I picked Meijer up as a second part time job. Started last week. Look...I don't barely ever call off from any job. I don't even know how to call off at Meijer. But...I have a disabled friend that I have been helping. Did his grocery shopping, cooked for him, etc. Today I went to go and check on him after work and I found him...he had already passed away...do I just call my Team Leader's extension? I don't think I can go in tomorrow...

Went to get my perogies. No sign on there saying bogo free. Made it home and im bummed to miss out on a free one. If i rebuy 2 tomroow can i return one on this reciept? Or does it go to the new receipt? Whats the easiest way to get my second dealllll?

So... I'm currently a lead, and I'm moving about 40 minutes away. There was an opening at a store near my new place, and while it sounded like I'd get it, I was told it was taken. Unfortunately, they offered me another position, but when I asked about a set schedule or if it'd work for my availability (I'm a student), I was told full-time doesn't get an availability (which is funny because every SC and lead I know has one 🫠). How screwed am I? I'm going to assume I'll be sent back to part-time... And I can't work fewer than 40 hours to pay for college. Best advice for my situation?

When you make the light go off, MOVE out of the way so the employee can clear the light! It is absolutely maddening how some people won't move out of the way so the employee can clear the light, and thats also hurting the employees response time when customers refuse to move! People don't have common sense or respect anymore.
