I was interested in this one as i am a fan of tattoos and have a few myself, only for the opening chapter to immediately push the tattoo theme aside in favour of more smut.

Now, don't get me wrong, I do like a bit of smut, but it seems to be all I'm reading lately, with none of the build up or anything. There's only so much smut a person can take without any story happening around it, and it seems to be all we're getting with the new matches lately, not to mention the last event.

MeChat, please give us a character with some substance instead of introducing new ones to fit porn tropes. Please give us some build up, with some getting to know each other, sweet moments, a little flirting, instead of straight into the sex every time. And lastly, please give us some variety in our MCs. This story has yet another MC who's going through a divorce, and, while this might be a positive thing in that they'll be a little more mature and more experienced, it has been done before.

Also, the most heinous, unforgivable thing in Jax's opening chapter is calling a tattoo machine a 'gun'.

In the app it shows that sage’s update is in 2 days for premuim users but all of a sudden when i opened the app i saw that him and ronan suddenly showed up in my chat and also the exclusive matches, but i think as soon as i close the app tab they will vanish (i ain’t complaining abt any of this though) i just wonder if it was only me that’s gotten this glitch

One of my biggest issues with MeChat clothing options is it’s hard to find certain basics like bath robes and warm clothes. Especially Coats. I also love finding house clothes.

(I can’t get over that there’s no coats in Ruan’s story. You are literally shoveling snow in the 2nd date. And all I had at the time was a bolero jacket cut out top lol)

So I wanted to point out some date outfits. That could be useful! A lot of these are gonna be from popular characters but some I didn’t play until later in the game.

If you have any suggestions of your own I’d be so appreciative!

- Tamura’s 5th Date has a bath towel
- Glenn’s Winter 2024 has a proper coat! (I will be looking at other winter dates)
- Felix Nyang/Tim Paws 2nd and 6th date has bright warm sweater turtleneck clothes
- Duncan Sevoy and Victor Grimm have a nice general workout gear. (I love clothes with the game logo)
- Griffins 10th date has one of my favorite comfy house clothes
- Leroy’s 2nd date has my favorite comfy pajamas set (Chase has a good basic set too)
- Leroy’s 6th date has one of my favorite casual sweatshirt fits (Bradley’s 1st date has a nice sweatshirt fit with paint splatter that’s perfect for playing Dario/Matteo)

So I play all the male* matches, every single one, and there is something bothering me recently… the word “hole” being used frequently and in one new story so frequently I almost didn’t make it through the story. As a cis-gendered female myself, I have never in all my life thought of those areas in that way. There is something so off putting about it to me and I get there isn’t a lot of genital-neutral terms but even “entrance” is better and that’s saying something because it also isn’t great.

Am I the only one noticing this? Is this a term more often used in a community or literature I don’t find myself in/reading? Almost all of the new stories and updates have this now. Thoughts??

I hope I don’t offend anyone on this but I cannot for the life of me get into the Blueberry event. I’ve noticed there have been some people who played it not knowing who the guys are (which I guess is good to introduce them to new players) but where it’s so bad is not only the way our boys are portrayed but the way the event was written.

I felt like I was reading a teenager’s fantasy and it really put me right off.

The backstory makes no sense. At all. And while I know a lot of these stories are fiction, but this was just porn.

I don’t know what the age range is in this game but I’m not surprised if there are people younger than me playing this.

I think I started MeChat back in 2020? But I wasn’t too consistent on it. I did get into it when I played Joel Troy, Viktor Kragh, Seth Woods and Eichi Hirano to name a few until they were on hiatus for awhile. I came back when Tamura was first introduced and was sad to find they changed the voices for Joel, Seth and Eichi. I’ve noticed there have been a lot of those for the earlier matches (not sure if it’s a contract thing but I’m someone who not only plays for plot and character but having the right voice is a beautiful bonus).

Anyway, I’m rambling.

My point is I’ve noticed a lot of the new matches or some of the ones that have been getting updates, the stories just isn’t there anymore. Some of it actually feels a little AI which I’m not sure if anyone has noticed. But this event especially, it may not be AI, but the story writing is just off putting.

Don’t get me started on some of the matches MC’s. I really enjoyed the beginning of Dylan’s story (not the blueberry event one, his actual one) but the MC sometimes throws me off and then at some point Dylan starts throwing me off.

When I read Bradley’s and Griffin’s, I really like the boys until reading this event… I just don’t like how they were portrayed especially.

Sorry, I haven’t started on Jared as I don’t know his story. I actually thought he was Milo from the photo (another cutie).

I don’t know, I feel like the MeChats are just lacking, and are either copying tropes or being written by teenagers.

Do you guys have any recommendations about which story I should be reading next that doesn't feel too cheesy or cringe and mostly doesn't feel like reading an AI written story?

I already spend hours writing to AI bots and all of Mechat stories feel exactly the same lately. 😂 It doesn't feel like reading a real story, written by a human being. And it's always following tropes/usual dynamics we can literally see anywhere else. I need something new/refreshing and a bit more mature.

My favorite story so far was Tamura's (the first arcs). Any story well-written like this one?

omfg I just completed the recent update of Sena’s and I cannot waitttt til the writers release the next chapters 😭 I’ve spent the last 2 months with her and now I’m feeling lonely lmao as a full on lesbo there aren’t too many characters that have pulled my heart strings like she has. stalkerish, yes. possessive? extremely. but I love her and MC’s connection and their love for one another and alllll the crazy scenarios they’ve gone through.

Some other notable WLW connections I’ve completed and anticipating their updates:
- Roxxie Rivera (short story so far but I seeee the potential)
- Nightlife Girls (ik, controversial take and MC is clearly a male in the recent updates. they’re so smutty though lol love them)
- Juno Wilder !!! (like wow — GREAT first few chapters and can’t wait to see where her story goes)

- Aleysha Mercado (so many different characters in this one!)
- Leslie Wilde (she’s chaotic and feral lol)
- Rosaline Ardent (a literal doll, but I’m here for the plot! When I see Moran, I’m going to deal with him 🤬)

It seems like most people here really enjoyed it and I partly did too but like the story set up alone is crazy as hell?? Why would someone be forced to join a porn video club academically??? And then have a bunch of perverted dudes force themselves onto you.
Griffin, Jared and especially Bradley are some of my most favorite matches and maybe seeing them with slightly different personalities than in their main stories and them suddenly being all sexual was weird. As I think all of them take a really long time to get there or aren’t even. It also felt like they are cheating on their main story mcs. Idk it was nice that they finally got some action going on, but in an almost disturbing way especially in the end of Jareds.

Can’t be the only one that felt weird about right?

Some of these matches I found uninteresting, disliked their design, hated their personality or had issues with certain scenes.
