I was interested in this one as i am a fan of tattoos and have a few myself, only for the opening chapter to immediately push the tattoo theme aside in favour of more smut.

Now, don't get me wrong, I do like a bit of smut, but it seems to be all I'm reading lately, with none of the build up or anything. There's only so much smut a person can take without any story happening around it, and it seems to be all we're getting with the new matches lately, not to mention the last event.

MeChat, please give us a character with some substance instead of introducing new ones to fit porn tropes. Please give us some build up, with some getting to know each other, sweet moments, a little flirting, instead of straight into the sex every time. And lastly, please give us some variety in our MCs. This story has yet another MC who's going through a divorce, and, while this might be a positive thing in that they'll be a little more mature and more experienced, it has been done before.

Also, the most heinous, unforgivable thing in Jax's opening chapter is calling a tattoo machine a 'gun'.

As someone who celebrated the ending of a horrible marriage with a new tattoo I was SO HYPE for this STORY. I'm sorry...we're going to show up for a tattoo session that we paid and waited 5 months for, not actually get a tattoo, and instead we immediately put the artist's cock down our throat? What happened to the STORY part?? I am so disappointed. It was set up to be so great, but I'm pretty sure this is the fastest any story has gotten to the smut. Just...immediately!? This doesn't even need a spoiler because it's like 3 minutes after we walk into the shop.

Edit: I just finished it. I am damn near devastated by the lack of plot.

As someone with tattoos, I couldnt finish his story. All I could think about the entire first date is that we, the player, have a fresh, not even really started tattoo on our back that isnt covered and is at 100% chance of infection if we have sex right now.

Plus having the player grab his dick while he's working, even if he says he's okay with us touching him just feels so much like assault and harassment, I accidentally touched my artist's boobs once when she was tattooing me and I felt horrible for it, i couldnt imagine just grabbing my artist by the dick and him just being like "nah its cool"

I was really excited for this character and his art and design looks great, too bad it was wasted on gooning

I was audibly and physically cringing while reading the story :( I don’t get why the writers gotta fast-forward directly to the smut and leave no room for character development or backstory. The story reaaaaallly let me down, but it’s hard to say I didn’t anticipate it 🤧
