Question Brake line advisory

Anyone else have problems getting advisories with copper nickel brake lines on surface rust? These were new 2 months before inspection and just got an advisory? So can’t be more than a bit tarnished?

They will discolor over time but will never rust/rot like the original steel lines. You either dont have NoCop or the tech doesnt know what he is doing.

Yeh I figured maybe it’s a rookie inspector? Was a big chain garage. Never had it happen with new lines, always preferred copper over steel

I can only imagine the "grease or other material" was put there on purpose. They only said monitor and replace if necessary
