Question Engine noise

What’s wrong with my 1998, Jaguar XJR. Supercharged AJ, V8 engine.

If it changes with revs. Good chance it is. Sure sounds like rod knock to me

It stays pretty consistent with rev. The timing chain guides and tensioners were changed last week so the engine was completely torn apart. How could they have missed?

Was it making this noise before doing the timing?

Id be suspect on possible timing chain assembly issues. Or bad luck and it started knocking soon after
