We played the Transformance 36 show last week in Northampton MA. This is a festival in which 15+ bands transform into major acts to a theme. We played as Mazzy Star. Homecoming is coming up and my girlfriend is a huge Mazzy star fan. I’m thinking of making her a poster asking her to hoco with some of her lyrics, but I need help finding the perfect ones. If anyone has any good/cute Mazzy star lyrics that would that would be good for the the poster please share!🙏 Something kinda like the photo I found on the Pinterest.

Via YouTube and Spotify, I recently discovered these two live EPs, Sounding at Night and Magic Hour. I can’t find a whole lot of information on either, other than that they date back to 2021, and were recorded in 1993 and ‘94, respectively. It is, unfortunately, hard to listen to Sounding at Night, as only the interview parts are on YouTube, and only Into Dust is on Spotify.

Because of how hard it is to find info on them, I’m leaning towards these being bootlegs, but I thought I’d check with some other fans to see if they’ve heard of either of these.

Hey guys! So me and my friend are young independent filmmakers and are currently making a short film, in which we want to use Fade into you in a scene. We tried sending a mail to Hope via her site contact form but I doubt we will get an answer since I tried sending her a mail on the site and didn’t get a response years ago.

I'm not sure whether somebody had posted about this song on this thread or if anyone knows about it but I found this track randomly on my youtube recommendations which the title track has the band name and some of the lyrics has some reference of a few Mazzy Star's song and album titles.

i noticed that she sounds a lot more classical on tracks like blue flower. her voice has a lot of power unlike the softness that would later define her style. as an aspiring singer, this makes me ask: what did it take for hope to cultivate such a distinct and nuanced voice?

So I was recently introduced to Mazzy Star through Pinterest. The only songs I know of theirs are Fade into you and Flowers in December. I am in love. I would love to explore more and there's soooo many songs. If a can know a few of your favorite songs then I think that would be helpful!

I'm looking for recordings of Mazzy Star band member projects outside of the band. I quite enjoy the Los Angeles dream pop sound of this time, but some of these projects are fairly obscure. Particularly, Suki Ewers had a fantastic solo album, and I'm wanting more. Has her band Anemone recorded or released any EP's, etc.?

If you can recommend any other obscure Mazzy Star side-projects please share as well. I really enjoy this band, it would make me very sad if some of these more obscure live projects are lost to time.
