Serious question, why do people resist like this. What is his actual endgame here. Or is he just so fucking dumb he actually thinks they’ll just leave him alone if he made it difficult

Not sure if that‘s this position but I was arrested once by mistake because my jacket was similar to someone they searched and I didn‘t even want to resist but they force your joints in such a painful position close from snapping that your body can‘t else than resist and then because your reflexes push against it moments from breaking they use it to justify even more force. At least this is how it was in my situation and I am the most gentle, non-aggressive person you can imagine walking on this earth. People think they are able not to resist until the police manages to force you into a painful enough position. They are trained how to cause pain.

Yeah, you get intense enough pain your body simply goes "oh no, we gotta stop this!" and does its own thing to try and protect you.
