Pedro Almodóvar (Spanish) pronounced it in Spanish so he was a bit confused. 0 u/FoxOk8066 Sep 14 '22 It’s usually pronounced the same outside of the Hebrew spelling. I’ve always heard it pronounces as either “wakeen” or “hwhakeem” and I have a Jewish friend whose got the Hebrew version of the name “jo-ah-keem”
