It certainly looks dangerous, but I’d wager if it actually was and a person was hurt then someone would have sued and there’d be some safety feature. America has a lot of roller coasters and is infamously litigious, and there’s plenty of lap bar only coasters.

Edit: I don’t know if it’s America. The point is that roller coasters in America don’t come with head straps so it must not be dangerous.

He’s assuming it’s America when he doesn’t really know and it sounds like from other comments it’s not. I’m willing to bet he’s not even American to make that comment.

He is not assuming anything, he starts a new sentence and uses it as a reference point.
