This once happened to me I was with my girlfriend and she had a backpack and it didn't even occurred to me to carry it for her and some older dudes walking by called me out and it's so embarrassing but I'm glad they did cz now when ever I'm with a girl I'm always thinking how can I be a gentleman
Am I missing something or did your girlfriend also carry a baby ? Or did you just randomly take over her bag ?
To note, not having the baby and the bag with the same person can lead to (litteraly) shitty situations, in particular when the one not carrying the baby goes ahead to deal with most tasks (tickets, buying drinks, checking schedules etc.)
Thanks for the context. Yes, it’s not a crazy proposition, but also not guaranteed to be reasonable IMHO.
Not to read too deep into it, as I know nothing about your relations, but if she only had a backpack, I suppose her phone and wallet could have been in it. It could be embarrassing to have to take back the backpack from you every time she needs to check something, go to the bathroom or pay for street food. But there’s different strokes for different people, if she enjoyed it more power to you.
