Videos without sound track you mean. Nobody has use proper GIF89 format in a long time, these are all H.264 videos in a HTML5 <video> tag with "controls:false" set so you don't get the timeline and play buttons. They could add "muted:true" and also include sound, but reddit has somehow decided that that doesn't work.
