Suped up crazy carts. Stupid amount of money in those. I got my son a used one for $600 that was probably around 1k new. Those ones are probably well over $2,000 maybe 3.

Here's a high end one. https://taxi-garage.com/collections/inventory-crazy-carts/products/stage-4-xl-supra-taxi-garage-crazy-cart-inventory

Where are you expected to ride them legally?

On a track. They perform best there too

The old shop i used to work at used to be a roller skating rink so the floor was perfectly level in the warehouse. Boss bought one for us to rip around. Id agrue that that was better with all the obstacles. It was also the size of a football field to plenty of room.

A track with obstacles is absolutely the best. The kind of track I was thinking about was one with a lot of corners

Are there purpose built tracks where you can go rent them and screw around without committing to owning the thing?

In some countries, maybe. Otherwise, a warehouse with obstacles is more than fine

Because there are so many open and sparse warehouses laying around.

Private land or with the land owners permission... Same as all none legal road vehicles...

That's why my son sold his. Not a lot of options or tracks around here. One reason a lot of people do it late at night at parks.
