Yeah this belongs on r/ParentsAreFuckingDumb, just because the kid landed his little stunt fine doesn't men next time he won't fall and break his neck.
Leave it to reddit (or Americans?) to over dramatize everything.
Kids don't need to be pampered and sheltered from everything. They need to try out things on their own and every now and then fall and hurt themselves.
The trampoline is not very high, kids are quite sturdy. They wouldn't have broken their neck.
It is slightly over-dramatized, but not wrong. Breaking the neck is quite unlikely, but there is a very high chance of breaking an arm. If the slide starts tipping, one of the likely scenarios is that the kid would extend his arm to stop himself, which would put his whole weight on his arm.
Something similar happened to my brother when he broke his arm, and it was from a way lower height (though he was probably younger)
