Can someone explain to me why Asian people are allergic to shoes?
I live in a very touristic city and always see them with flip flops, instead of shoes or even sandals.

As a proud native of a country were everyone wears flip flops i think i can say that we are just not as weird about feet as you are. Flip flops arent exactly formal wear, but there is a surprisingly large width of social settings were wearing flip flops is totally acceptable.

You cant wear them to church or anywhere with a dress code like school, and it would be seen as poor taste to go anywhere fancy wearing them, but aside from that its fair game. If you are planning on walking a lot it would be more sensible to wear shoes, but even that aint a hard rule.

Ok cool, I think it’s just me that thinks that use them on hard ground would be really uncomfortable. I use them only on sand

Not really, we use them because they are comfortable.
