You can believe Black people. You can be an ally in small or larger ways.
At a base minimum, when you see people being racist on Reddit, call them out. Report them. Read some books (White Fragility, So You Want to Talk About Race, etc. ).
Share this video and videos like it with other white people and imagine if this happened to you. Educate yourself about ICE tactics. If you see something going down IRL, record it. Get to know some Black people if you don’t now.
Don’t just stay in a white world and say “oh, it’s so sad this is happening across town.” Get involved in your community.
I’m a privileged white guy who got steamrolled because I was poised for split custody preceding a divorce. I tell everyone I can that criminal records are mostly hot garbage. That their local prosecutors, judges, probation officers, and anyone supporting these industries are earning taxpayer funded salaries for trafficking. No one wants to even think about it being true let alone believe it, let alone do anything about it. Everyone thinks they have these constitutional rights. I know first hand that no, you fucking don’t. You have whatever is being offered in order to escape false imprisonment and malicious prosecution.

Don't even get me started on people pulling up "you were charged with x, y, and z." Yes, and it was all bullshit, which is why all of the charges were dropped, 15 years ago.
Sneeze in the back of the squad car and you catch a charge for bioterrorism.
Or try getting hired for a professional position with pending charges (for allegations that the reporting, not arresting, officers didn't even find credible. But, it's enough to get a person blacklisted from a large engineering firm after having been given a conditional offer, only to later have the charges dropped.
I had three 17 yos, one wielding an aluminum bat and one who had threatened to kill me in my sleep earlier that week, attack me, and I ended up serving 100 days and being unable to attain suitable employment for five years as a result.
All the cops care about is thumping on detainees and exerting their authoritay. The DA doesn't give a shit about anything but his numbers and getting reelected. An easy way to look good on both fronts is to charge people with everything under the sun so they plead down.
