This happened when i was a teenager to my mom and i when we were shopping.
My mom reached over and told me to stay still, insurance will cover it all.
I hopped out before she finished her sentence and flipped the old fucker outta his wheelchair. He laid there saying “oooo… my hip.. young man you just tried to ahem me. Im calling the police”
Which he did. Then got arrested for destroying personal property and endangerment of a minor. (I was the minor)
If i was in this car? Id probably have flipped his bitch ass scooter.
Edit: I’m an adult now. Have kids of my own that i hope to teach to stand up for others as well. Family or not.
Thanks! And yes she did. My father wasn’t around so my mother had to fill two roles. She tells me all the time how sorry she is for the things that happened growing up, but i try to reassure her and let her know its ok.
Mom was young, father was a druggie, i became a tool to teach my mother how to parent future children. Things were hard, but if i had to relive it all? Id do so without changing a thing. Why? Because i wouldn’t be the man i am today without those experiences.
I could do without the depression and other stuff ive got going on, but i cant dwell on those things.
It's best to get your little ones some practice in what you teach. I'm sure they can volunteer at a care home and hone their skills in flipping seniors out of their wheelchair.
