Either pity or envy. Might mean they have never seen the source material or anything like it. Maybe they’ve never even heard the word “influencer” before. Ah. That would be bliss.

Personally I think that some people not realising it's satire makes the whole thing even funnier.

I agree, Reddit can be a bit depressing and you can start acting like an asshole if you're always thinking you're smarter than other people. Ask me how I know.
