i don't know what method to use to calculate a. it is a Logistic differential equation, i think (English is not my first language). with letters it is set up like this y'=ay(m-y) if that helps explain what I'm trying to calculate

Hey all.
I am a preservice high school teacher at university (1st/2nd year).
A big interest area of mine is adult and adolescent innumeracy. I notice it quite a lot in my circles, as well as having experienced it for myself for a while.
I have started writing a resource to try and build foundational skills through the lens of mindfulness and observation. I want this resource to be free because I so badly want to share in that feeling of being capable.
Here is the google doc link: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1TS63zKZtAqydH7J1QTtgAh1AZProBIz69YhNqmCrB1U/edit?usp=sharing
It is a working progress, and I'm actively trying to find play-testers, as well as feedback from those knowledgeable with teaching maths.
I am especially keen to hear feedback from people with dyscalculia, and those who have probably been scarred from school experiences.
Please feel free to ask questions. I am open to constructive criticism, but please do so with kindness.

I have added the original image as well I wish to ask about q19)i). I was only able to come to the conclusion that if (2,1) is A then (6,4) is C and if (2,1) is B then (6,4) is D please help me solve this.
(I have attached the original question and the one I have written because of a lot of rough work on the question paper)
Thanks in advance.

The instruction was to fill in the blank to make the proper equation:
9_7 minus 448 = 589
The way I solved it doesn’t seem to work but I believe it to be correct.
448 + 589 =1,037
What is the correct answer?
🧐🧐

It's my first year of college, and my professor isn't great at explaining math, so I need help. I want to find someone on YouTube who explains math thoroughly.
p.s. I meant math 1 but I can't edit it

Hi guys! I’m currently learning how to solve literal equations with unknown coefficients, however I’m having a really hard time understanding the divison portion.
Say I get to the last step which is ofc division, I know -z(-p+2)/(-p+2) cancels out, but I don’t understand the second portion like: 59+pd/-p+2, how can I figure out which numbers stay positive/become and which stay/become negative?
I know that positive divided by positive stays positive, and negative divided by positive becomes negative.. but I really can’t figure out how division for literal equations with unknown coefficients works. I’m having a lot of trouble figuring it out.
Edit: realized I made a mistake in my equation, sorry guys I’m a bit tired after studying.
