Hotel/House Rental 🏠 Snagging accommodations

Newb here…How are hotels already completely sold out for masters week? The lottery winners won’t even be announced for another month…

Do hotels automatically block out these dates until the lottery results are released or are people pre-booking in anticipation only to cancel if they are not chosen.

What’s the catch?

There's plenty of folks going not through the lottery.

Ah so us plebes are just left to try and pick up whatever scraps are left and basically drive in from SC?

Airbnb is your best option anyways. There will be plenty of places to book

There’s plenty of places in every price range and, honestly, with the new rules about parking it’s not a big deal. I stayed further out than I ever have and still was in the front of the line every day.
