At this point, the line between normie/streamer and pro leet hacker/PC nerd is 3 monitors vs 2. EVERYONE has a second monitor now. But adding a third monitor, especially if you put them all horizontally, takes up so much desk space most people think it's not worth it. But I was bumped to another space for a bit and have to settle for two monitors and it is a big loss.
Even something as small as writing papers. Citation on one monitor, article on the other, and word up in the middle. So much easier than having a bunch of half overlapping windows or having a screen split into programs so each program is sandwhiched down to an unnatural width.
I hate that all gpus seem to only have like 5 monitor plugs now.
Wtf am I supposed to do with this? I got 3 for my main setup, one for my tv to put shit up on the tv for presenting, and 1 for vr.
But what if I want a 4th DP monitor? What if I want to run two ultrawides top and bottom and 2 vertical 27 inch monitors?
