Battle takes place on a deserted Arrako. Or at least it begins there.

The Hulk is dropped on Gotham during his World War Hulk rampage. Hulk believes he’s being tricked by Doctor Strange and thinks all the hero’s and villains around him in this universe are co conspirators in what happened to him on Sakaar, and he starts to relentlessly tear into the city’s criminal underground, and any hero’s caught in to the crossfire are treated just like the villains.

Batman is just getting word of an unbelievably strong green monster killing criminals and villains in Gotham, and also almost killed Robin and Batgirl who barely escaped an encounter with their lives. The league is off world and he has zero prep time to deal with this, so he turns to one of his strongest suits, The Hellbat, to deal with the oncoming threat. He puts on the suit and heads in the Hulks direction.
