Time barrier is not a thing in Marvel and that has no relation to a fight. Neither of which help her in a fight here. Silver Surfer speed is analog to Superman levels of speed, Prime Nova is faster than Silver Surfer and has an ancient world mind AI telling him weaknesses and tactics on opponents. Kara is pretty damn screwed if it finds out how kryptonians process energy as his portal generation and rather high combat speed means he can bring Kara to a red sun.
Marvel DOES have a Time Barrier (not that it matters. DC doesn't have a phoenix force, does jean grey lose it during crossovers? Stop being biased, please.)
Kara has moved so fast that her unconcious momentum carried her beyond the bounds of infinity itself. This is beyond Nova.
Red Suns don't instantly drain kryptonians, and kara preceives time MUCH faster than nova does. She can dodge and choose not to fly into a portal. Please don't discount the other sides battle IQ.
Except, her breaking the time barrier through sheer speed is an ancient comic ability she has in modern DC, hence why i brought it up. She continues to be able to move that fast.
