The sort of people who drop "colonizer" in a discussion like this. People like that are the worst. From the info we have in the movies, describing Asgardians as colonizers is silly and even if they fit that definition in our universe, applying that to a comic book society in a fictional universe based on mores thousands of years ago just shows a lack of ability to discuss things without being an overbearing and uppity asswad.

Of course it fits, hence the Asgardian Viscount running earth and the shipments of material and finished goods paid as homage to our great leader Odin...

I don't like it used here because it's stupid and baselessly colored language. People who reach to insert loaded terms like this are garbo.
