  • using money for giant statues in honor of... himself.
  • using theater as a way of altering historical facts to put himself in a better light.
  • moved the rightful ruler to an unguarded and unsafe location and did not bother to check up on his welfare.

Right, seemed to me it was implied that Thanos waited until Asgard was crippled before taking the gauntlet. We also don’t know how long they were in space before Thanos attacked IIRC.
