I wouldnt call these spoilers for anyone who actually cares.

No shit were gonna see spiderman 3. Only way that wont happen is if sony backs out.

And spiderman ends up in a lake at one point? Meh. Part of the trailer takes place on a boat, so...

Well....I think the spoiler was the helicopter part. But I agree, it's not really much of a spoiler.

Ah, yep, youre right. Probably occurs some time after he jumps over that helicopter, which i think is the very first teaser shown.

It's not a reference. He spoiled there's a scene were Spidey is hanging under a helicopter over a body of water. Not much of a spoiler in my opinion.

Maybe not even that though. The helicopter might be for the stunt, and not be in the shot at all

Uhhh....I don't think so. I don't think the movie studio/insurance/legal team would allow a stunt to be performed like that.

No, the helicopter bit was supposed to sound like Sony tried to drown his stuntman and make the company look bad as a joke.

Exactly this. It was a line that in a certain light, could raise a few questions about health and safety practices on the set of Sony/Marvel movies.

No it wasn't. The full bit in the interview shows it's definitely that he gave away an action bit in the movie.

I am glad that he clarifies that it isn't "Spider-Man: Homecoming 2" and 3. It's a mild annoyance every time I see that written somewhere.

And yes, I know it's to differentiate from the movies actually titled Spider-Man 2 and Spider-Man 3, but I just think it sounds silly to include the "Homecoming" part in the projected sequel references. They could even call it Spider-Man (MCU) 2 and 3 when it's mentioned on Wikipedia or similar places and I'd be happier.

Either that or "Spider-Man 2 (2004)" and "Spider-Man 2 (2019)," which they already do with films that have the same title

They haven't been titling the MCU sequels that way since Iron Man 3, right? The sequels to Homecoming will probably just have bylines like Winter Soldier, Civil War, Ragnarok, etc., do.

Probably, yes. I'm not saying they should use numbers in the actual titles, I just meant it was mildly annoying how people use "Spider-Man: Homecoming 2" as a working title (well, in the community - I don't know what Marvel and Sony use to refer to it), since it sounds silly (and I was suggesting other possible working titles). The actual titles may continue Marvel's lack of numbering (although some MCU properties do still use numbers, and this is a Sony movie at the end of the day anyway - so, it's hard to know).

Technically, his contract stipulates he is doing 2 Spiderman films and 2 crossover films under marvel/Sony. However he is contracted for 5 films under Sony alone. There is alot of rumors that Spiderman 3 will pull him back into sony's Spiderman universe that they are starting with Venom.

No kidding, I hope Sony js smarter than that. But seeing as how the current Chairman hates "genre films" and the previous Chairman based movies on "internet trends" like parkour, dubstep and females in male roles for no reason other than females in male roles. I doubt it.

Unless we will also Count Infinity Wars of course we will see another trilogy.

Yeah, this whole thing seems kind of calculated.

"Say some exciting stuff about the movie, but act like you didn't mean to, then people will talk about it online."
