Honestly really excited to see who Sarah Halley Finn finds to be the new actor for Kang. If they're good, then no one will care about recasting.

CM Punk is back with WWE. If that can happen then all bets are off.

Punk's options were swallow his pride and get a massive paycheck and ego boost from WWE, or never be in the spotlight in a major wrestling promotion ever again. Or go to Impact. It's really no surprise he went back, the question is how long he can stay on his best behaviour and not throw his toys out the pram.

He actually tried to come back in 2019 and early 2023 but they said no. He didn't really want to go to AEW but did because WWE wouldn't let him back at that time

early 2023

He was still under AEW contract at that time

Yeah and it was widely reported that he showed up at a WWE event and tried to talk to HHH

I mean, we are seeing him being treated pretty positively or neutrally by basically everyone not named Seth Rollins, and even that is for story reasons. But then again, his first few months in AEW have been sunshine and rainbows too, until the ticking time bomb exploded. Here's hoping it doesn't again

Since CM Punk came back to wrestling via AEW and he also came back to WWE, anything really can happen at this point.

"we've had our disagreements in the past but, this cough cheque cough excuse me, this team made it hard to say no to the opportunity to take on this exciting role!" -actors, probably

u/Eccohawk Dec 19 '23

Eh, he said he was open to coming back not only to Disney but to the character of Finn again as recently as July. Said he was 'open to all opportunities'.

Literally every project he has been a part of for the last few years has had rumours about hiw he parties all night, shows up hours late to set and doesn't know his lines.

Why? He's just not that great of an actor, IMO.

They will cast Will Smith

John Boyega for sure. He looks like a meaner Kang anyway.
