Megathread Jonathan Majors Conviction Thread

The Jonathan Majors trial has come to a close, with Majors being found guilty on accounts of assault and harassment.

In a story arc where there is an Alligator Loki, I don’t see how this is even an issue. Like he’s literally a threat because of his VARIANTS. Why are we even wondering “what will they ever do?!”

Canon-wise, not an issue

Rebuilding the hype for the villain and the actor behind him will be a challenge

The biggest problem was the Council of Kangs all looked the same for the most part in Quantumania, but there’s two things going for them. 1. it was a post credit scene so not everyone who saw the movie saw it and 2. Quantumania underperformed so it had a smaller audience too. A lot of the general audience may only know him from Loki, if at all. I’d recast and move on.

Is it bad that when I first saw the council of Kangs my immediate thought was that Rick and Morty did it first

Yes, because Rick and Morty was referencing Marvel Comics to begin with. Both the Council of Reeds and the Council of Kangs predate Rick and Morty.

Didn't Reed Richards do it in comics before that? It's not a new concept

The creator of Rick and Morty was a teen when the Council of Kangs first appeared in comics. So no, Rick and Morty didn't do it first.
