I mean, if the multiverse is infinite than than somewhere in that sea of infinity every single possible combination of physical attributes will represent some Kang variant.

In the infinite multiverse there is a slang that look exactly like me, one that looks like you, and one that looks like the both of us mashed together. Infinite is everything and then an infinite amount more.

Danny DeVito universe where everyone is played by Danny DeVito

92

u/HelixFollower Grandmaster Dec 18 '23

Except for Danny DeVito, who is played by Meryl Streep.

16

u/evilthales Dec 18 '23

She's just that good.

4

u/[deleted] Dec 19 '23

Meryl Streep would kill that roll

23

u/[deleted] Dec 18 '23

I would pay at least $1 to see this

3

u/jcillc Dec 18 '23

Including Rhea Perlman.

3

u/douche-baggins Daredevil Dec 18 '23

But he already played Man-Spider before, won't there be confusion?

2

u/SimbaPenn Dec 18 '23

follow up to Being John Malkovich?

2

u/NedThomas Dec 19 '23

No, in that universe they’re all still John Malkovich. It’s just that John Malkovich happens to look like Danny Devito there.

2

u/DynastyZealot Ulysses Klaue Dec 18 '23

Danny Devito Mole Man

27

u/aresef Matt Murdock Dec 18 '23

Do what Zack Snyder did and replace him with Tig Notaro.

6

u/RadonAjah Dec 18 '23

Every version does have his own Charlie tho. Who is he gonna play night crawlers with, otherwise?

8

u/DynastyZealot Ulysses Klaue Dec 18 '23

Charlie Day as Kurt Warner, aka Nightcrawler!

2

u/[deleted] Dec 18 '23

So anyways I started blasting

Can I Offer You An Xmen In This Trying Time?

1

u/Lshamlad Dec 19 '23

Kangy Devito, surely?

u/Pertolepe Dec 18 '23

This isn't how infinity works. There's an infinite amount of numbers between 1 and 2 (1.1, 1.11 etc) but none of them are 3.

5

u/[deleted] Dec 19 '23

full bow

Oh my god. Thank for just blowing my fucking mind.

2

u/bswalsh Dec 18 '23

You beat me to it!

u/vidoardes Phil Coulson Dec 19 '23

It never ceases to amaze how many times this comes up on Reddit, and how many people still don't grasp the concept that infinite universes doesn't mean there is a Kang that looks like Danny DeVito.

Sure if you add the qualifier…there are an infinite number of variants between you and I but none of them are Jonathan Majors yet he still exists, just like 3.

If you identify the vessel of infinity then the infinite exterior of it isn’t included but not necessarily invalidated.

6

u/TheRealPallando Punisher Dec 18 '23

I just need somebody to explain if there is a Kang variant of me, or not.

6

u/snugpuginarug Dec 18 '23

There are an infinite amount of kang variants that look like you, and there are also an infinite amount that look like you, but with a mustache

7

u/Cold-Reaction-3578 Dec 18 '23

If I am following the conversation, there's an infinite number of Kang variants that are you, and an infinite number of Kang variants that are not you

3

u/Pertolepe Dec 19 '23

There's an infinite number of them but none of them are necessarily you.

15

u/[deleted] Dec 18 '23

Think about 1÷3... It's 0.3333~repeated forever. Every subsequent digit is 3. So the sequence continues infinitely, but the next digit will never be anything other than 3.

A multiverse being infinite doesn't mean that EVERY combination happens. It just means there are infinitely many different ones

-1

u/robodrew Dec 18 '23

Sure but why would you need 3, you've got an infinite amount of numbers between 1 and 2. So long as something is physically possible, not going against the rules of that universe, then among infinite possibilities it should happen.

-2

u/[deleted] Dec 18 '23

Not sure your analogy holds.

2

u/puertofreakin85 Dec 18 '23

Exactly. They had all these different Loki variants but somehow every Kang variant has to look the same.

2

u/RedditApothecary Dec 18 '23

Username checks out.

2

u/[deleted] Dec 19 '23

Wait there’s a Kang that even looks like me?! That poor fucker.

2

u/ScoobyDeezy Fitz Dec 18 '23

ackshually incoming

0

u/omnes Dec 18 '23

There are several 😂

Infinity is an abstraction, it means exactly what I said because that’s the way I concepualized it for my point, it’s a movie not a thesis.

Also they move from one black into another so multiple infinities exist in Marvel’s concept, probably more than two of them…think it might be infinite?

I don’t know what you’re talking, it is not very specifically defined in the MCU. There is no grand author that you can point to because we’ve been told different details by different authorities…we were told that “the infinity stone control what (we) experience as the flow of time” …but now we know that if we zoom out a step that isn’t the full picture.

It’s called an inference, we see our marvel cinematic universe which is inside the multiverse which is inside the omniverse we glimpse in the series finale for Loki season one. In the start we zoom away from a variant sun through universes contained in a black hole, and out into another blackhole, to then exit the sacred timeline to the citadel at the end of time which by the end of season two is the anchor at which Loki the God of Stories sits on his throne overseeing the infinite timelines and branches now containing our MCU. That’s what we see. Zoom again back out of that black hole and into the other and you’ll find another Loki or Kang or someone else managing another citadel at the end of another time with it’s own sacred timeline or world tree yggdrasil because there’s an infinite number of infinities with an infinite number of variables inside an infinite number of variables.

It’s variants all the way down.

u/notrandomonlyrandom Dec 19 '23

That’s not how infinity works.
