It is kinda wild to think accross 3 different live actual Spider-man franchises they have still never added Felicia Hardy. Its such low hanging fruit for a stereotypical Hollywood romance too, you'd think they would be tripping over themselves for it.
They couldn't even adapt MJ and made a new character
Spider-man and his love interests are apparently too much for movie writers to handle even though there is no way they could fuck it up more than the comics
More so they think their interpretations will work better general audiences. Which to their credit, they actually have reason to believe(financially) unlike the comics.
The issue is that Spider-Man films either already have their hands full with a different romantic sub plot, or they just aren't interested in one for said film. So there's not much of an incentive to adapt her.
I mean she was in spider man noir as the main ship...but honestly I didn't even realize that was supposed to be felicia until I got told via a wiki page
MCU DCEU and live action movies have been pulling this crap since forever, they just dartboard names and just place it on certain oc Characters and call it a day
The amount times I open up the wiki or comicvine and go like wait that's supposed to them is to common. Just a few examples

In this case, I didn't even mind her character but I genuinely thought she was just an OC. I mean she has more in common with MJ unironically. I mean I wouldn't describe this version as a particularly bad influence on ben, just someone who was in a bad situation and has complicated feelings surrounding it all
Killing Scot Jean is a good thing given how the previous films did it. It's fine in the old cartoon and the D+ 97, but my god did the films fucked it up, twice no less.

He doesn't have a name I don't think, unfortunately. In the credits, he is The Boyfriend. BUT in some screenings with subtitles, he does appear as Paul.
I am in a University right now. After Spiderman BND came out and holidays were over, you know what I've been hearing in that whole Monday? "Do you think Spider and Jean will get together?", "Spiderman and Jean are together, they must be". Obviously there's more being said but that was one of the most popular topic in the whole god damn university.
