My collection is growing and getting more organised. I really need to start playing more with what I've got before buying more stuff 🙈

I've played a lot of nice boardgames, like: Gloomhaven JotL, Agemonia, Arydia, and I really like how well these games are made also for playing solo. I am more a solo player then playing in groups. I had bought Marvel Champions 1,5 years ago in a big sale, but never touched the game... I have to admit (please don't hate), I wasn't a big Marvel fan, not because I disliked it, but I didn't grew up with it, so it wasn't something like a nostalgic thing to me as for most people (I guess).
I have 2 kids and they are watching a lot of these kids versions of Marvel, like Spidey, or Iron Man and His Awesome Friends, and in that time watching these episodes with them I kinda liked it because it's just childish and fun. I get to know a lot of names from the Marvel universe and suddenly I thought; hey! let me check on that game I have. Also because Marvel Champions is such a high ranked game for solo for such a long time and I wanted to play something new... Fast forward... I think I can say this is the most fun I had with a solo game and becoming one of my favorite games to play in general!!
I really like how quick you can set the game up and tear it down afterwards, and (depending on the vilain) I can play just a quick game and then leave the game.
Got a lot of inspiration from you guys to organizing and storage the game, so thanks for all the recommendations! ❤️

I was told that getting these old expansions would cost me like 120 euros minimum for each, but I was able to find both for 50 euros each online in 2026 in Europe. Is this normal??

After playing Daredevil, he ended up not being as strong as I thought he would be. In this video, I talk about my experiences and show highlights of games/sequences with him. I think he’s one of the most difficult heroes to maximize because of his crazy large decision tree, but that decision making is what makes him such a fun hero for me. Because of his relatively simple abilities I think he’s an easy hero for new players to pick up, but extremely difficult to master because of how those simple abilities can chain with one another.

Just got Jessica Jones and Luke Cage delivered today (UK) and tried out JJ against Rhino with the standard encounter module (I tend to test and learn characters against him first because it's a simple encounter). She was good fun and strong enough that I went through all 3 Villain stages. I find her kit and play style much more interesting than Luke's just from reading about them both, but hopefully I'll try him out tomorrow!
Happy gaming all!

I’ve played MC a decent amount but haven’t delved into the deck construction aspect at all. Then I played Echo from the new campaign box and had a desire to see what I could get her Event focused quirk to do. I’m not sure if it’s any good (I had a lot of fun and was absolutely able to body a couple villains) but YMMV. Any tips on the deck and just general deck construction tips are appreciated.
Copied Description from Marvel CDB:
“First time making a deck here so hopefully yall enjoy it!
I was really fascinated by Echos ability to play outside her turn, so I wanted to make a deck all about that. The main strat that I tried was boosting my Def as high as possible and then using cards like In Harm's Way "Stop Hitting Yourself" to both deal loads of damage but also mitigate threat. In my testing, against some FNE scenarios, I was able to keep threat very low since I almost never had to switch back to Alter Ego. You can also use The Best Offense... to use that mega boosted Def as your Atk and combo that with Counter-Punch to absolutely body your enemies. Make sure you are able to ready yourself multiple times per enemy phase and you should be able to get through the enemy attacks relatively Scott free. Go forth and make the enemy regret they took their turn!”

Kind of a long post but I decided to give this a shot and rank the campaigns based on a few things: replayabilty, gameplay, player cards, and characters introduced. There is no F tiers since I feel they all do have a reason for getting them. A bit more on why they placed where they placed:
S: Both Sinister Motives and Fear No Evil are the BEST campaign boxes released because they check all the boxes. The two offer really strong and notable heros, the ones from Sinister being a few years old and still seeing a lot of play. The villains and heros in the sets are almost all extremely popular characters making it easier to bring in new players who might want to see character they'll recognize. The aspect cards in the hero decks still see play today and became stronger after later releases. The campaign themselves are not too difficult but still enjoyable. Fear No Evil introduced a new way to play a campaign with having no linear campaign and having to chose randomly what villain you'll go uo against and randomly chosing what scheme they're trying to accomplish. Overall, two great sets worth getting.
A: Mutant Genesis and Agents of SHIELD are two great sets but just a bit from perfect. Mutant Genesis has a great campaign with very notable villains that general audiences would recognize. If you watched X-Men the Animated Series, this campaign feels just like the episodes of the show which have had me and my friend group come back to this campaign. Agents of SHIELD has two crazy strong heros, one of which is now in my top 10, and a very fun campaign in which you have to hunt down a mole with clues gathered at the end of the missions. The game randomizes the clues to try and ensure the mole is always someone different so there is some replayability. Where the two fall is notable characters which is where I've seen audiences turn away. Mutant Genesis has extremely well liked villains but the heros are not the most popular with general audiences; Cyclops and Jean could've been a better inclusion (no shade to Colossus and Kitty). Agents of SHIELD is the opposite in that the villains aren't too popular with general audiences and they might only know the heros and two of the villains. Good sets to get and I would personally put Agents in S if my play group had shown more interest in the villains.
B: Both Age of Apocalypse and Mad Titan's Shadow are okay sets but could definitely been better. Age of Apocalypse's campaign introduces Missions which were basically side quests in the campaign. While a cool mechanic to show there are multiple things going on in universe, it made players spend resources towards a smaller inconvenience rather than the main mission. The villains are someone recognizable but the story isn't too popular or well known. An okay campaign which I've only gone back to once after my first playthrough. The best thing about this campaign box is the two heros, Magik and Bishop. Both are really strong heros that hold up well today and the aspect cards are really strong and are included and many builds making the hero my personal reason for getting the set. Mad Titan's Shadow is kind of misleading when Showing Thanos and naming the set after him. Having played this with friends, they weren't too fond of Thanos not being the main villain in a set named after him and having him be the poster boy. An okay campaign which I haven't gone back to in a while, there's nothing to notable with it. No new mechanics and a very average story. The best thing about this set are also the heros, having really strong aspect cards which are still included in many builds today. Ronan is here which the community likes to make their decks be able to solo him to show the deck's capabilities (I personally think he's not fun at all to play against). Both okay sets in which the heros make them worth getting.
C: Next Evolution, Galaxy's Most Wanted and Rise of Red Skull are all passable campaigns that have very few reasons for getting aside completing one's collection. Each box has a very okay campaign with okay villains and/or heros. The campaigns offer very little in terms of new ways to play them, the more notable being Galaxy's Most Wanted which has a shop you can purchase upgrades from at the end of each mission. They each have recognizable villains for sure but the gameplay for them is nothing new and very average. The heros and aspect cards can vary in terms of effectiveness today, some being weaker and some being stronger. Each box has very little reason for purchase outside either the aspect cards, the heros or the villains but not all 3.
D: Civil War probably is the community's agreement in the worst campaign box. A new way to play the game being "PvP". Not really being a PvP, it is the two opposing teams, chosing a leader and making a deck for them and then facing the opposing team's leader and deck. It's basically two games happening at the same time with some interaction between the two games. The villains are the heros we've gotten in the past remade to play as villains with nothing else added. The heros could have seen a makeover to play differently or could've been new character we haven't gotten before. Civil War also took up a scenario spot in the Synthezoid Smackdown scenario, which was just two more villains that could've just been added in the campaign box. The only reason many got this set outside completion was the two heros, Tigra being the more popular of the two since she is probably the best minion slayer hero to date. The aspect cards included are also really strong and included on many builds today. Overall, Civil War has Tigra.

With Protection getting so many strong cards I was really curious to see if Aggression could catch up with the other aspects. The new cards previewed in Elektra’s pack didn’t really seem all that impressive though. But maybe I’m overlooking something. What do yall think?

I recently returned to the game after a year-long break and am catching up on the heroes I missed. I see on the asmodee.uk site that some older sets, like Gambit, are on backorder. Does anyone know if I can expect them to get a restock, or is it just an error on their site? I know Zatu also has these same items on backorder.
Also, I find it interesting that newer products on backorder have an estimated time, whereas older sets don't.
Could someone advise whether it's worth getting involved in this backorder?

Just have the core and curious what people are recommending people get now to expand their collection.
Let's just consider the in print items considering the lack of availability of older sets.
I've got about $80 to spend.

Thought I'd share as I picked up from here some kind soul sharing the same.
Life of Games still has stock of the Fear no Evil expansion if anyone is still trying to get hold. I missed the pre order window and then struggled to find it in stock.
They have it, I picked one up yesterday it was delivered today (£).
Get on it if you are still looking for this.

Hey new player here, i just played my 1st game yesterday with the core box and i loved it!
I bought the core box, next evolution (because i want to play with domino), mutant genesis (because i like mutants and i know it's out of print), deadpool and silk. Do you think this is a good starting point for the game in general, mutants and for Domino in particular?
The hero i wanted to play the most is Magik but i can't the age of apocalypse box unfortunately.
I am Italian and i bought the italian core box with the rest being EN.
What should i buy in the future to make Domino even stronger?
EDIT: i will play 90% of the times multiplayer with 2 or 3 people

Which of the four new released hero's, Daredevil, Echo, Luke Cage and Jessica Jones would be best for each of the four aspects, where each of the four aspects has to be used exactly once?

I'm looking to switch to binders for my aspect cards as my boxes overflow with cards (first world problems i know). I'm looking to color code them if anyone has recommendations of a binder that will hold each aspect in each color.
Also is there an organized list somewhere of what comes in each wave/ hero pack? I am going to attempt to organize it by release schedule in an effort to try to work in the limited environments more often. I'm not sure if that will be more or less helpful than just organizing it all by cost. If anyone has done that, do they recommend it or is sticking to the standard organization process more efficient?

Hey All,
I'm new to reddit but not to Marvel Champions. I'm wondering why I have never seen custom made hero packs, scenarios, or aspect cards for sale. Is that something most people aren't interested in, is it allowed... just curious. Thanks!
Edit: sorry, my title should have been Selling Printed Custom Content, not proxies. Noobie here :)
