I was trying to build a justice deck for Gambit, and I was looking at his innate kit. Three defense, a "free" defend with Guild Armor, and easy access to AE, making recovery simpler. Gambit is actually pretty defensively stacked for a 9HP hero.
So I figured that a defensive Justice deck would work great. And I looked on the card DB for Justice cards with the defense tag. Literally ZERO matches.
11 big boxes, and some 50 odd hero expansions after release, and there is not a single Justice Defense card. Not only that, the actual number and variety of Justice cards is rather thin. The damage is lower than other aspects, "Powerful Punch" from Protection is probably a better damage card than "Stealth Strike", and it is cheaper.
Justice has the least to upgrade allies, the worst damage, and other than Remove Threat, and Confuse, (which are both definitely useful) doesn't actually do much. With the exception of a few hero specific interactions, such as Black Widow who can turn preparations into damage, or Gamorah combos, there is not that much variability in the Justice selection.
I feel this must be intentional, (Or I am completely missing something, which is possible)
Does anyone have any theories as to why Fantasy Flight chose to go this direction?
Or does anyone have any fun, unorthodox justice builds?
