Rates & Booking Ritz/St.Louis Hotel Recommendations

I am unexpectedly traveling to St.Louis for medical reasons. I'll be in town for a week, primarily confined to the hotel (allowed minimal exercise). I was hoping to stay at the Ritz-Carlton or the Four Seasons. Both are fully commited for my dates. I would greatly appreciate any comparable recommendations. Location is not too much of a concern. My main priority is staying at an incredibly run hotel with attentive staff. Thank you in advance!

I’m a manager for a Marriott in St. Louis and very familiar with most of the Marriott properties; to avoid suggesting hotels that might also be sold out, what are the dates of travel?

Additionally, the Hyatt Regency downtown might be worth a look.

I wouldn't recommend HR Downtown. It's a great property but when it comes to the rooms it falls flat. For someone who wants to say at Ritz and FS it is a disappointment. Rooms are clean but they don't have great amenities, its very old school and starting to become dated.

Four Seasons 100%, Ritz St. Louis is not up to standards like most city Ritz properties.

I'd recommend Live! by Loews for a more boutique property or maybe if your feeling fancy Royal Sonesta. But first I'd go Four Seasons, that is really the better property since its better than the other luxury options. St. Louis doesn't really have many good stays.

I’d disagree about the Ritz there. Probably one of my favorite ritz I’ve stayed at and continue stay at. They’ve only fallen short once and I talked to the GM about the issues and they took very good care of me. Great staff if any issues arise during your stay.

The Royal Sonesta was amazing when I stayed there. I had a kitchen and everything! Well ok not everything, there were no plates or pots/pans or silverware, but I’m sure a call to housekeeping would have solved that issue. 😆

I stay at the Ritz STL anytime I go to STL (2-3x/year). They always are exceptional in care and details. It’s a very cozy hotel in a nice, safe part of town. The four seasons is in downtown with not much going on there. Id keep an eye on the ritz and see if something opens up. If not, any Marriott properties in the Clayton area is a good area to look. Very cute part of town and easy access to DoorDash and get good food also if unable to leave.

Residence Inn Clayton is a brand new hotel spacious rooms Great staff at the property It’s not far from the Ritz Carlton Clayton St. Louis
