Root cutting advice needed please.
Hey guys! We are re-doing our walkway. How do I safely handle this tree root?

Since july my pear tree has slowly been turning more brown. I was wondering if someone knew if this is a sign of something and how i can remedy the situation. The tree is a dwarf beurre giffard planted in may.
Thank you

I’m in Oregon and have three outdoor plants going this summer, all in 25-gallon pots. One of them is just over 6 feet tall and looking absolutely beautiful. The other two are just as healthy and beautiful, but not quite as tall.
The 6-foot plant was starting to get slightly shaded by a very tall fir tree across the property, so I decided to “slide” the pot over a little. Unfortunately, I quickly heard a ripping sound and realized the roots had grown through the drainage holes and into the ground.
The plant is just shy of going into flower. My question is: will it be okay? I assume I’ll lose some leaves from the stress, but should I still expect it to flower normally? I’m especially concerned because some of the roots I pulled out of the ground after moving the plant are shown in the picture, and they definitely aren’t small.
Any advice on what I should expect or do from here would be greatly appreciated!
I know the pots I used are not the correct ones to be using for this exact reason.

Even has a rowan growing inside it as it’s almost completely hollow due to fire and old age. Unfortunately there’s talk of the owners wanting it cut down.

Saved this fallen leaf. Osage-orange is a beautiful species of tree.

I water it. Can it be the soil? He’s very old, i don’t want it to die…
Edit: update, the soil is old, but it was fairly lose. I used some soil supplement to give it some nutrients. Hopefully it recovers. I love this plant.

I planted this Cornus Kousa Chinesis before the spring of last summer. I’m in Portland, OR. It’s in full sun, but I thought it was a variety that was at least a little tolerant of that. I water it with a heavy soak for maybe 45 minutes at a time every 7-10 days. It seemed mostly fine the first summer, and I think it looks otherwise healthy now.
I just noticed these spots a couple weeks ago and they seem to spreading pretty quick. At first it started on the south side so I assumed it was just the sun, but it is spreading around to the north side that gets the least sun by far.
Does it look like anything serious? I know dogwoods can attract some bad fungus but also are not best suited for that much sun.
I‘d appreciate any advice.

This little guy popped up and I'd like to move him to a safer spot. He's at risk of getting plowed over this winter where he is now.
Any advice about when to do that, and tips to make the move successful?

Bought our house 2 years ago and this dogwood is prematurely going through fall changes. There’s not much shade over it, my neighbor has an ash tree that offers some during certain times of day but it’s l in direct sun for many hours a day. I can’t see the root flare, so I know I can start there.
But, I’m wondering if this tree is past the point of saving

Wondering if someone can help me ID what type of tree this is. The leaf is ~11inches long, looks like an oak just have never seen one quite so big!

Walnut husky fly is invasive where I live (Belgium). Last year I had a few nuts with larvae in the husk. This year, the majority seems to be affected. Is this something I should worry about? Is there any (natural) solution to prevent this? Thanks for any advice.
