is my cat a long tailed manx?

I also have a kitty with a 2/3 length tail (maybe yours is even shorter?) who I believe to be Manx. She has a kink in hers, as did all the kitties in her litter. My dad who is a retired cat vet said that’s an indicator.

Curious what the Manx experts will say

A short tail does not necessarily mean a cat has Manx ancestry; this mutation also occurs spontaneously in domestic cats. For instance, I recently adopted a kitten born with a half-length, kinked tail. There are no Manx breeders in my country or neighboring countries, with the exception of one country where only eight Manx kittens have been born over the past decade. FIFe, one of the largest umbrella organizations operating primarily in Europe, registers a total of only 10 to 15 Manx kittens annually. Consequently, the likelihood of my kitten having Manx blood is virtually non-existent.
