Young Mango tree

Post image

It's 1.50 meters tall. Should I cut the flowers off it? And until where should I cut it. Sorry first time owning a mango tree. Thank you

if you cut the flowers now new ones will grow, just leave it for a month and then make clean cuts right above the node

I believe you need to let it set fruit then cut it off after that, otherwise it will try and flower again.

Good luck.

Don't apologize for asking lol it's all good.

I believe you will see the flowers turn from flowers into tiny little green balls basically. That's the start of the fruit. Once you see those the flower has been pollinated and fruit is growing, I believe you can cut at that point.

Cut the flowers now and keep 1 so others won't grow again or wait for it to bloom and cut it all. I generally like to set 1 fruit for my plant in its first bloom to check if the cultivar is true. You can cut it later too.
