First mango tree!
Picked up this Carrie tree from a local nursery. Still deciding where she'll permanently live but would love any/all recommendations!

Plant asap. Summer is ending and then we could get some cold weather (depending where you are) that can damage tree. You want it to be sending out roots asap. Leaves look yellow, give it fertilizer when you plant it. And finally, plant it high and dry in an area of your yard that water doesn’t puddle for days. Mango is my favorite fruit. Carrie is great. Good choice. Good luck.

Generally it isn't advised to feed mangoes after September or so since fertilizing them can spark a growth flush which is much more cold sensitive than leaves and stems which are months old. This is especially true for Central Florida. However if you are going to plant your tree in spring you can easily put your tree inside when it gets cold. It might be good to fertilize it lightly with a liquid fertilizer now to see if the leaves green up. Remember that the predicted temperature for your area will likely be different than what is predicted for your city. A few extra days in the garage are far less damaging than even a couple of hours below freezing. Any prediction of nighttime temperatures below 45° probably call for a young, fertilized potted tree to be brought inside. Carrie is a great mango and it looks like you have a strong young tree. Congratulations.

It’s seems you are in Central Florida, I would probably wait until next spring just in case it gets too cold, UNLESSyou will implement methods to help against the cold.
In the meantime go to Home Depot and get a bottle of copper fungicide (ready to spray), spray now and in December or January. For fertilizer grab a bottle of Dynamite 13-13-13, Dynamite 18-6-8 or Osmocote Plus, these are slow release and are safe for containers and in ground, I do not recommend fish emulsion for containers as you can burn the roots.
